Mombasa celebrities are set to witness one of their own tie the knot this weekend and say goodbye to bachelorhood.
Joseph Akwiri, a News Reporter @ Baraka FM is finally set to join the Marriage Club by wedding a beautiful lady from the Rift Valley this Saturday at the idyllic Milele Beach Hotel grounds.
Sources close to the groom tell us that the invite only wedding will feature an A- LIST of celebrities including his colleagues at Baraka FM, Mombasa Media and others from Nairobi.
Sources further intimate to Mombasa411 that Akwiri’s former workmates, Esther Ingolo, Alex Mwakideu (both Standard Group) and KISS TV’s Dennis Okari, will be in attendance.
When Contacted by Mombasa411, Akwiri said:
“Kaka, tushamaliza matayarisho yote…kila kitu ni shwari na Mwenyezi Mungu akitukubalia, basi ndoa itakuwa ya kufana. Njoo ule, unywe”
Radio Maisha’s Esther Ingolo looked forward to the day, and she is said to be so eager to escort the bride back to Western Kenya……
Sources further intimate to Mombasa411 that no Luhya wedding can proceed without a full range of Ingokho (chicken) and some specialists are being brought in from Kakamega, just to oversee the preparation of the fowls.
Among guests expected to attend the wedding are, Coast PPO Aggrey Adoli, Mombasa Town Clerk Tubmun Otieno, Mombasa DC Abdi Hassan among others.
The Coast PPO has pledged a convoy of outriders to escort the wedding party along the busy roads on the wedding day.
Although the Bridegroom is mum on the choice of attire for his biggest day…..sources within indicate that his recent trip to Dubai was primarily for shopping clothes and accessories for the event.
We cant tell you more details about the bride….let’s withhold that for now….simply call her…Faith.

whatever the procession is all about ….its just an exercise in futility. the government has known all along but cant risk the pushing the company too far since the taxes coming tell it all. but if the same effects were felt by the hotels by the beach side then it would be a different game altogether coz you guessed it right…… tourism and wageni mean much more thatn wenyeji.
